Getting Involved

What Opportunities Are There?

There are many opportunities to become part of Cadet activities. Your involvement will benefit the Cadet program.
Any and all contribution is welcome, from a few minutes to a few hours. There are always tasks available, such as filing, driving in a car pool, fundraising and supervising the Cadet canteen.

Join the
Squadron Support Committee. The sub-committees are always looking for additional help.  These civilian committees support your Cadet unit by funding extra activities, assisting with administrative support to the unit and promoting the Cadet Program in your community.

Please note some volunteer positions may require the volunteer to first be "screened" as a security precaution - most parents appreciate knowing the Cadet organization is very concerned for the security and safety of the Cadets.

In addition to the above, qualified individuals may be interested in applying for a position directly with the Squadron as a Civilian Instructor or even as a Squadron Officer.  These special positions demand a significant commitment of time however they can offer a very rewarding "part-time career."

Speak with the
Commanding Officer or the Support Committee Chair to help you decide on the best way to contribute and to learn about our screening procedures.
